Front passenger window slow and not closing all the way?

I noticed for the past months and getting a little worse, the window is taking a while to close, and when it opens, compared to my 2000, the 2001 window does not go all the way into the door, it leaves like 1/8" sticking out on the part near the back of the car on only the front window. I can push it with my hand the rest of the way down. Does anyone else have a problem with this? Any ideas how to fix this? I rather not have to deal with teh dealer if I can just fix it myself somehow. Thanks..

I had the same problem with mine just a month after I bought mine. The Nissan dealership took off my door panel re-adjusted the window track and used this special grease to make the windows go up and down more smoothly.

I've had the same problem since new. The dealer "greases and adjusts" the window. which doesn't do much of diddly squat. Could it be a relay? Whenthe other windows are operated at the same time its even SLOWER, making me suspect maybe its last in an electrical chain. Any one know?

i went to the dealer about the slowness and also with my windows i close them all the way up, then a little while after i check to see if they are closed and they still move up a little bit....it's hard to explain. but i saw them for those two problems one, the slowness and two, the window may not be sealing right.
they didn't do jack. they helped the speed problem, but i was more concerned about them sealing right.
to fix the window speed they sprayed silicon lubricant all along the rubber, that lines the window opening on the door. this helped significantly. i was worried about it leaving a oily film on the windows but it doesn't. i bought a can of the stuff at my local auto parts store and use it everyonce in a while, when i detail my car.

I'm having a similar problem with my driver side window.. When I put it up or down it screeches. I took it to the dealer twice and they put some lubricant stuff on it that is like a film on the window but after a few days it starts screeeeeching again. So I'm going to take it back again. I think it needs re-adjusted, but hopefully they can get it right this time.....

Well my 2k SE has been fine in this regard. However my 89 3rd Generation SE windows were slow and didn't close all the way. I discovered that by keeping the inside of the rubber seals ( the vertical ones) clean and siliconed it made a big difference. It is a pain to do, use a lot of paper towels and STP/Armorall. I would do it 2-3 times a year. If you are in a dry dusty area maybe every 2-3 months.

I also have the squeeking windows problem, but only on the drivers side. Seems to do it most when it rains. Maybe I should put some TriFlow on the rail?? The passenger side does not make any noises... probably because it cant get up enough speed to make a squeel.
