Max broken into :(

F'in BASTARDS!!!!!!!Nothing taken. But, door was open a bit. Hope the leather is fine once I clean it up.

Weapon of choice, was found on the passenger side rear floor. If I had caught them I'd be in jail as I probably would have bashed the person with the rock.

some door scuffs that I can probably buff out.

That blows. Insurance will hopefully pay for all of it.

OT: I think this is one of the many reasons why I keep cosmetic upgrades to a minimum.

this is a good case against tint imo. .. if they peek in and don't see ****, you're less likely to have this happen. . .unless they were just doing it out of vandalism purposes. . . .my interior's always full of bull**** like papers and cups because last i checked. . .I was putting more miles on my max than my bed

Good luck getting it all fixed, hopefully the police will actually do something about it.

No insurance or police. Insurance companies SUCK. My deductible would be more then replacing the window myself.

Police won't do crap honestly. I just wanted to get the car home and in the garage. Now I gotta take tomorrow off work to grab a window and tint it. I already cleaned the interior and removed the panels and took out the old window brackets. Leather seems fine.

True. Police don't care for small stuff like this anymore. When My car was broken into my report was done over the phone and they didn't even come out to look at the car.

That really sucks. I know how you feel though. Someone broke out the rear quarter glass in my previous car for no apparent reason. Nothing was stolen so I figure it was either a random act of vandalism or I must have pissed someone off. My police report was taken over the phone with an automated system as well so I'm sure the police really could have cared less.

Good luck getting it all fixed. I hope it doesn't cost too much.

Found a rear glass for $100cdn. Just put it in and cleaned all the broken glass. No rips or cuts in the leather. Shop quoted $300cdn though to repair the scratch. Its too deep to buff and slightly dented.

After staying the night at my girlfriends house, I found my car parked down the street as it were the previous night... minus driver's side mirror. It was just hanging by the cables. I was pretty some pissed. Then I went home to discover a roomate's drug paraphernalia all over are living room and so I pretty much beat the **** out of him. All this just as my younger brother came to visit for the weekend. I was not a happy camper, and the cops didn't do anything either, besides tell me this was "not an isolated incident." Well geez guys, do you think you might do something if **** like this has been happening frequently at this location?

Sorry for your loss. That sucks. My friends 02 I35 front passenger window got smashed in. They didnt steal much. He still has a rattle when u shut the door. Its from little pieces of glass that are still down there beneath the window track or whatever u call it.

Yep, I got that, its really hard to get to in there. Window is not as smooth, I guess it will take time. Trim doesn't line up perfectly anymore . I'll try and re-do it once I get the window re-tinted.

I think he could get the window glass out if you pull apart the door panel from the inside. I dont know how the I35 door is made but if its anything similar to the max it should be a simply pry open and clean.

It was proibbibly just stupid HS kids. They are just doing stupid stuff now a days. About a month and a half ago some punk a$$ got into my bronco and stole the headunit faceplate... left the $15 bucks in the ashtray left the center console alone, left the $225 motorcycle jacket on the back seat, left the 12" subs and 1500 watt amp and my Ipod converter... They also got into my GF's truck but the only thing I could see that could have been missing is some tampons in the glove compartment...

On my Bronco board there has been scattered reports of trucks getting broken into for no aparent reason or stupid ones.

Oh T-dot your leather should be fine unless that rock hit it. But know you will be finding shards of glass in your car for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *breath* OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG time. Hell after my rear window was shot out of my bronco I still found a large pile of glass when I replaced the carpet.

Man that sucks. It was probably just a bunch of kids going around the neighborhood destroying ****. A few years ago, my 1993 was parked out on the street and somebody (never found out who did it) egged the crap out of my car. At the time, the car belonged to my parents since I didn't have a license. What made it really bad was that it was only on one side. No one drove the car for a day or two and the eggs sat and baked onto the car with the hot summer's sun. This is what f***** up my paint job and caused the huge rust hole on the rear driver's side door. It sucks when you respect other people's property and they go and f*** with yours.

Hopefully that rock fell on the seat and not the floorboard, cause there could be a big dent under the carpet.

I doubt it. It hit the passenger rear door panel before landing. Panel is a bit scratched but everything is fine. I'm still finding shavings here and there, nothing major though. I still have to tint the damn window lol. Looks funny with one non-tinted window.
