Hood movement at high speeds

At any speeds x>50mph you can see the hood bouncing consistantly, its scary when you think that the thing could fly open. Has anyone expierienced this? And or is there a solution to stiffen the hood so it dosent have so much movement while driving around.
TIA

My hood started to do the same thing lately. something is loose I believe. When I first noticed it, I pulled over from the highway because I thought I had left the hood open. Scary stuff

When I had my OEM hood, I had the same problem. There is a TSB for it:

Basically, go to the dealership or call up Dave B about the parts. You should get two rubber strips, one for each headlight and a rubber stopper. I didn't do the hood insulator part, but you can do that as well. They definitely helped the vibration on my hood.

There is a TSB for this...can't recall the number, but it essentially gets you some rubber barriers that tape over the headlights and a rubber bumper for the hood. It helped mine a little.

look at the newbie with the correct answer

also, weather stripping where the hood meets the headlights helps a lot.

this has been discussed before and it seems some people also have play on the hood latch. i wrapped some thick tape around it and it has helped the problem alot.

there's a limit to how much you can tweak that rubber stopper, because it won't line up on the sides. . Mine i had to do a balance, because where the stoppers would completely eliminate the bounce, it looked like my hood was popped. . .

I have this issue and wondered for awhile but was too lazy to fix. Maybe I will now. I played with the **** (not mine but the one for the hood ) and that didn't work.

edit TSB is for 01-02? Thats dumb.
