Nitromethane

do you think mixing about 5 to 10% of Nitromethane into my gas every time i fill up will be dangerous? 100% concentrate

this isnt a 5th gen specific question...or even maxima.
do some research to get the answer.

i say its a stupid, pointless, dangerous idea.

thats what i thought but i have some from some of my past cars with specially built drag engines, but if you mix in about 10%, it can result in a quicker burn of gas allowing for engine to cycle through everything more efficently, resulting in a small hp increase

What he said... It's very expensive, hard to ignite, burns very hot, and if you can get your car started, is guaranteed to destroy your engine. Gives detonation a whole new meaning. Buy some and take a sniff.

I've raced a 850cc custom Triumph drag bike with the stuff, and it's nasty. Now nitrous is much better behaved....
