My girlfriend has a loaded 2000 Se with the 17" wheels. She got a nail in her passenger rear tire the other day but the hole is in the side wall so it cannot be plugged. We have to get a new tire and I have a few questions. The car has 16K on it, do I have to or should we buy two new tires? Does anyone think Nissan would be willing to do something for us? Is there any kind of road hazard that comes with the warranty or the extended warranty? She ended up getting the 5 year 75,000 mile

Thanks for any help

John

I don't think road hazards are covered under any warranty. If the wear on the rest of the tires is not too bad, then you could possibly just get one tire or replace two of them. But, the tires are like $180 a piece....
