I need a favor

I would like some info, all you guys that are running the G35 coupe 18`s on your 5ft Gen ,are you running genuine g35 wheels with the factory offset front and back ,or are you running the reproductions off ebay ,where all 4 wheels have the same offset and if so what size tires are you running. photos are a plus.

I don't have any pictures but I'm running factory G35 wheels without any spacers. I have 235/40/18 tires on all 4 wheels. This set up gives you the closest overall wheel/tire diameter to the Maxima factory wheel/tire set up.

As far as I know, there are not many running the replicas, most get the originals. I'm also pretty sure the G35 18s are not staggered from the factory, so front and rear width and offset is the same. They may come with different tire sizes on the Gs, but now I'm just speculating.

It has plenty of pictures too, last I checked.

G35 18's are 18x8 +30 offset for EVERY WHEEL. The only thing that is STAGGERED are the tire sizes. They say Front and Rear on the wheels themselves but that's for G owners to differentiate front and rear tire wheel fitment.

i thought they had 18x8 and 18x8.5? the offset is the same, but they are definately right about the diff tire sizes. One thing i will dispute, however is the tire size close to OEM.

225/50R17 = 25.858" <-- OEM
the two CLOSEST to OEM tire sizes are:
245/40R18 = 25.716"
and
225/45R18 = 25.972"

The size Teddy specified; 235/40R18 equals a tire height of 25.402". The benefit with this tire size is that it will be easier for the car to accelerate as the rotating mass is closer to the center. downside is your speedo will have a larger tendency to read under. this really should be in the tire & wheel section.
