For all you org'ers who have done this conversion, see if you can help me out here. I installed the 2k2 HIDs in my AE this morning and followed the how-to down to the letter (double and triple-checked). The high and lo-beams are working perfectly as are the turn signals. However, the parking lights and fog lights are failing to come on. More frighteningly -- as tonight was the first night I have put them to use -- I have just discovered that my taillights, sidemarkers, license plate lights, and interior nighttime lights are not working as well. Did anyone else run into this issue? Even if you didn't, do you have any idea what might have happened and what solution there might be? Thanks for the help.

 

Did you check your fuses?

 

Lance, the rest of the lights out definitely screams blown fuse to me. Recheck all fuses under the hood and by the driver's kick panel.

 

Yup, right as you guys were typing that I went and found some 10A and 15A fuses and just started changing everything out. Turns out it was the tail lamp fuse and voila, everything is working perfectly. Thanks for the help guys -- now someone direct me to somewhere that can replace these horrible orange-in-comparison parking lights and fog lights.

get some white LED parking lights from autolumination

do the "lexus yellow" fog mod...

and you're good to go

 

lance...for the fogs, PIAA is the closest match.
for the parking, get the chrome covered bulbs from here - http://autolumination.com/. they are also close to the HIDs. they are a little dim but with the HIDs, it doesnt really matter.

i did red led's all around my sidemarkers, tinted my rear turns red and outlined them in black tint to look like SE's and have white in the front, with black head lamps and tinted turns on the front, and tinted sidemarks, my entire interior lights are all red led's along with my gauge cluster being red as well...RED SILVER AND BLACK is my combination....Nismo colors FTW
