eibach rear vs tein s tech rear spring.
eibach rear vs tein s tech rear spring.
okay so ive been thinking about mixing and matching. i have eibachs all around. and the drop is 1.0 in the rear. nmexmax was selling rear s techs and i was thinking about buying them, however......
i looked up
http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html
and it is advertised as 1.0 rear for eibach and 1.6" drop for the rear of the s tech.
but when you look at the ride height of maximas, it shows the s tech being higher off the ground in the rear, even though its supposed to be .6" lower.....
can anybody clear up this confusion?

alright, im just gonna assume that both the advertised measurments are off.
when compared to the stock height, subtract an inch from the eibach rear, you should get 26 1/4 inches. but since it is 26" im gonna assume the drop is 1.25inch in rear (unless that guy had a system in the trunk......)
and the s tech is supposed to be about 25 3/4 inches high, but is actually around 26 3/8. so i guess i compared to misadvertised rear springs heights.
okay, so if anybody cares, that should be the correct info. for those thinking about mixing and matching springs and wind up getting something different than expected...
and if you mods think that this information is sticky material, i give thee permission to sticky it. ha ha.
