This is more reasonable and made from energy suspension.

Wow I kinda want to kick myself for buying the OEM ones. Looks good.

Orgullo, those boots look very universal and without the bumpstop.

I bought these and they are waiting to go in with my new suspension actually. I got preoccupied by a concert, a wife, and my computer dying, so. . .it's been a week of preoccupation. . .want pics of the ACTUAL maxima boots? those are apparently just a sample for 'illustration purposes'

^ Pretty much. I've never seen these before, but you can buy the boot (cover) and the boot with a bumpstop (bellows usually). I know Advance Auto Parts makes universal bumpstops/bellows for about $15/each.

These are just the boots. I got a set in for my coilovers. I had to cut some of the length down because they are univeral for regular struts, not coilovers. However they work just the same.

As far as the bumpstops I used my oem ones. If you are having to replace the bumpstops then do what SilverGle suggested. That's where I would start. If nothing comes of it then post a wtb, I'm sure someone has some oem struts lying around that you can peel the bumpstops off of.

Are the Tokico boots shorter than stock? ie. are the bumpstops shorter? That's what I want to know. Pics would be nice, but regardless, I think I'm getting the Tokico's either way.

Thanks a lot for the info, I ordered these along with some energy suspension FSB bushings.. Man this is gonna be a lot of work for $40 of parts lol.

These boots look like they won't have to work so hard when the strut is fully extended, say when flying through the air lol, so they will be less apt to rip. I like the way they are designed with wider folds. Seems that would be another reason that they would be less apt to tear. Once again thanks for the advice.

So I'm going to need to use my stock bumpstop, cut the end of the boot that will go over the bumpstop to match, zip that end over the bumpstop and that's it right?

stock boots suck, i have about 60k on my car, and when i was putting new springs and struts, they were all shredded into pieces. better to invest in some quality boots.

Guys, gimme another day and I'll post up full pics of them. I'm pretty sure they use a shorter bumpstop, as it is that yellowish foam/urethene iirc. regardless, it's a bit late for me to dig'em out, shoot'em, and load'em.
