Memory Seat Question

Hey Gents,

I was checking out a 5.5 gen with memory seats. The power seats work, but when I tried to follow the owner's manual to set buttons 1 and 2, it wouldn't set. Is there some switch that prevents the seat from remembering, or is it defective? I can't imagine it being defective if the power switches still work. Hmmm.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Nah, it's auto tranny.

Thanks for the reply.

Memory Seat Question

Regardless of whether it was a 6 speed or auto tranny, it still has an automatic seat positioner switch (where soonerfan said to the left of the steering column). If it was set to "Cancel", the system would not function.

Did you check that switch was set to "Auto"?

Also, make sure the shifter is in PARK. Won't work in any other position (except maybe neutral but not sure about that).
