AC Temp Control Problems
AC Temp Control Problems
My 2000 Auto AC does not blow anything but cold or hot.
65 or 85
Thats this, from 84-65 it blows cold, and won't get warm unless it is set to 85.
Of course I've checked once my car is warm, but no change in temp from 65-84.
I just replaced my fan amp to get the fan motor running again but would like to adjust my temperature.
Anybody know what I need to do?

Have you run a Self-Diagnosis on the system? The shop manual on page HA-37 describes how to do this and at the end describes how to adjust the Temperature setting trimmer. If you don't have it I could fax it to you. Basically within 10 seconds of starting the car you press the "off" switch for at least 5 seconds until it enters the diagnostic mode. The you can step it thru various tests by turning the TEMP dial right or left. You can exit thediagnostic mode by pressing "auto" or turning the ignition off.
Step 1 TESTS LEDS
Step 2 TESTS INPUTS FROM ALL SENSORS
Step 3 Mode and intake door motor position is checked
Step 4 Actuators are checked
Step 5 Temperature detected by each sensor is checked
