Coolant leak

I spotted s small 2 inch puddle of green coolant on the drive way . I have a 2003 Maxima GLE 120,000 miles. Looking from underneath it was dry around the rad, but my AC compressor was wet with green fluid on the bottom. Could this be a water pump leak or are there any other possible problems? Also the belt seemed to have a few cracks on the ridges. Is it time for a newone? What kind of cost for these repairs?
Up to now no problems this this car other than brake rotor and pad replacement 3 times so far.

Thanks for any suggestions.

the water pump is internal (inside timing chain cover) and doesnt go out very often.
i would bet your hose it cracked where it meets the thermostat

All hoses are dry. No evidence of leak there.

check the plug ... its plastic and if the service tech tightened it too tight it might have cracked and slowly start leaking.... i had a flush done at 50000 and noticed the plug cracked at 60000 so it took a while for the plug to work its way out but sure enough it was cracked

Are you sure that the coolant is not coming from the coolant pump shaft seal leakage weep hole? This weep hole is supposedly located (I've never actually located it yet) between the timing chain cover and the block, which might explain the coolant on the AC compressor.

Look for a white residue on hoses / engine parts...evidence of coolant splatter that has dried.
