Window gutters: need educated advice

I'm looking to buy some window gutters for the Max and would like some opinions from you guys who have them. On my 97 I had the smoked weathertech ones that used the double sided tape, they were nice but I wasn't too fond of the tape on the paint, one also came off at speed in Germany and I almost lost it. Anyone here have any experience with the ones that fit in the window track and don't use the tape? I'm particularly interested in how they look and the effect they have if any on the window tint. Thanks, up front for the help.

I had the weathertech channel ones on my 96 and I liked them. They fit well and since they only contact the window on the outside at the top they should not effect tint at all.
