I have one in my trunk just in case. Just haven't mounted it yet. Always a good idea to have one.

Always a good thing to have, and if you are worried about overpressure, don't worry it won't happen. Anyways keep one handy somewhere, accessable in an emergency. Typically you won't be using it yourself but you will end up using it on others.

Better safe than sorry, and it won't hurt anything by being in your car.

I had one for a while (and a first aid kit).

The place I mounted it got kind of annoying, so I took it out..

SoulEater, the bracket came with the extinguisher, but I don't remember where I bought it. May have been my local Fleet Farm.

Thanks for the props, Josh. I've been around....just not posting much.

It's the 'optional' embroidered carpeted mat. Has MAXIMA embroidered in the middle, but you can't see that in the pic. IIRC I got it from a Nissan dealer in Seattle. About $55 shipped.

A little late to this thread, but figured I'd add my 2 cents...

After all the wiring I've done in my car, between the accessory lighting and stereo, I decided to play it safe and I finally bought an extinguisher a few weeks ago. Picked up the small one from WalMart for $10 and threw it in the trunk. I trust my wiring for the most part, but I've seen one or two videos of fires under/behind the dash, and they scared me enough that I want to play it safe...For $10, might as well buy one...
