tire size help

tire size help

i got rims that are 18x7.5
im not sure wat tires to go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18
i want the back tire to be a little wider then the front....
oh yea im dropped on progress springs
i got a 5.5 gen

what you thnk????

what year max???


but i would recomend the 235/40's...the more tire on the road the better the control!

I'm running 235/40/18s on a 7.5in rim....dont bother going with a staggered tire set up, looking at the car you will NEVER notice the difference between the 225s in the front and 235s in the back...I'd suggest 235s all around but that is the widest you can reasonably go with a 7.5in rim

ooh ok i just dont want to have any problems with rubbing

M1RAG3, thanks you gave the most sensible answer to a question I asked a while ago in the tires and wheels forum concerning the pros and cons of going staggered.

yes i got some tires finally!!!!! toyo proxes 4 for only 300! all for brand new i couldnt pass it up
