After viewing one of the threads, I read there was a supposed cover that went over the fuel filler pipe and port to prevent sand from entering the drain holes and into the port. well mine wasnt there either. I went to my dealer with a copy of the thread from here and asked them about it. they never had seen this part and didnt have a clue. but after ordering the parts (17290-2y000 for the protector and 01553-09321 for the 4 clips) and me showing it to them they decided that they would pay for it. They did mention that it was a regional part and our region (Texas) doesent get these????. None of the cars at the dealer had them. Anyway thanx to you guys ive got it installed..
