Any body modded rear windows??

Hey guys, I just went through the Instruction HOW TO section but I found nothing I'm looking for. So here I am posting a thread looking for help.

I would like to know if someone has modded their rear windows to make it go down all the way like the front ones? If there's a how to that I missed, please repost it here and once someone shows me how, I'll delete this thread.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

There is the little problem of the curvature of the door being in the way. If you find some way around that, go ahead and post it up.

Ok let's clarify, are you: A: Trying to get the windows to roll down with one push of the button? or B: Get the windows to roll all the way down so no glass shows?

Also be patient when asking for advice, not everyone that is on in a 14 hour period will be able to answer your question.

I just made it easy for myself and cut the part of the glass that is exposed after they have gone "all the way" down...you could do that?!?

but then when you rolled your windows "all they way" back up there would be like a 4 inch gap in your windows and anybody could get into your car from then on. So yes its a relatively good idea but you didnt think it all the way through.

I would lock this thread if I could.

OP: No, it cannot be done. The full window will not fit inside the door.

/thread.

if your really bored and have too much money laying around you can cut the glass vertically and make the moving piece of glass smaller and then you would just have to fab up some seal piece and put it in.... so basically the little "triangle" piece on the back door would have to bigger like on the 4th gens to make the window go down any more....
