Any body ever made something like this for the max? I think it could really help with wheel hop or ripping flex-pipes due to execive engine movement

Wow! let the flaming begin.

Where is you buddy saying "I'm in this thread" or some bs like that?

This was just a thought, to keep the engine from moving exessively under hard torque. I thought it may be cheaper or easier than getting poly motor mounts and have a similer effect.

I never used the word (eliminate). And it may not help much with the whel hop because thats mainly suspention. But I've went through 4 flex-pipes during hard launches or hard 1'st to 2nd shifts. My motor mounts are new(just stock)

no you didnt use "eliminate"...you said "it could really help with wheel hop" which means you want more.

Apparently no one has tried this, so why don't you? I think it could stiffen the drivetrain up SOME, don't know how much tho and if it would be worth the $. Also it kina looks like someone had a bad day, just let it go.

im not sayin its pointless or not pointless, but, a great question to address would be, would stillen acutally develop and produce this item if it was pointless and did nothing?

Yes - If there's profit to be made.

350z's and G35's jump all over these all time time just to have it.

From: Auburn WA,
I know the item is not pointless. It's a similar idea to how muscle cars use chain to keep the engine from twisting too much in the engine bay. This is for RWD cars though and I was wondering if it would help FWD cars.

Nobody makes one for our car anyway and I'm not going to be the designer so it doesn't matte too much. I'm just entertaining thoughts and getting input. If it were a great design or idea there would probly already be one built for our cars.

If somebody made one I would give it a shot

The Evo guys use em too and they say that the stabalizers make a pretty big difference.

bump for wondering if anyone has found this...i'm looking for it to reduce/stop the engine jerking. i know new motor mounts would also help, but does anyone know if there is a engine stabilizer/dampener available yet for the 5th gen?

if not other than oem mounts, what other mounts are available, the engine 'bounce' is getting crazy

This might be useful for a forced induction motor.
I would think replacing the electric motor mounts with Poly would be enough for a N/A Maxima.
