Possible test pipe fitment issues? ***Pic***
Sup guys I got a test pipe from warpspeed..stainless steel. But when I recieved it, it was in a Magnaflow box I was looking at the flanges on both sides and they dont line up..see:

Do the flanges on the stock cat line up with each other? Does it look like one of the flanges on the test pipe need to be welded to line up with the other? Keep in mind I have not test fit it yet...it wont be for a few days and I wanted to get some feedback whether or not I should send it back to Warpspeed or not. thanks

well here is the scenario. Most y-pipes to my knowledge come with a bolt section that pivots. You can and should have the ability to move the bolt section of the y-pipe so no matter how this pipe angles, it should still be able to bolt up. The main concern is if it is the right length because that looks a lot longer than the cat converter or any other straight pipe i've seen (custom maxima one's i've touched and installed)
But to answer your question, the way they line up doesnt mean anything. It will still be able to bolt up properly because the bolt on part on the Y-PIPE is moveable. This goes for all aftermarket and I believe stock as well.

I just got under the car and checked the flanges on the stock cat...they line up perfectly...warpspeed sent me the wrong one..and the ypipe flange does not look like it is adjustable

spoke to the owner of warpspeed and he is absolutely 100% positive it will fit right...I guess it will then. He said that the flanges are not meant to line up perfectly and purposely have a 22 degree offset between them. I'll have it installed in a few days.
It's supposed to be something like that... stock cat does not exactly match up. Bought mine from Warpspeed and it's been good for over 3 yrs. I believe ONE side of the test is adjustable, take a closer look, because mine was.
