a/c problems

ok got a question for you guys. up until lunch time yesterday my a/c worked fine. blew very cold and strong. i was trying to get some coins that my wife had allowed to slip behind the ashtray, and i accidentally pulled on the bottom of the a/c controls. now my a/c only blows hot as if the heater is on and the light on the temperature slider does not work. my question is has anyone else had this problem? do you all think i need new a/c controls? i have checked all the fuses inside the car and they are fine. please advise any suggestions.

I'd pull it out and see if one of the connectors came loose.
