Monroe brake pads

I purchased Monroe rear brake pads for my 2003 GXE. Was disappointed to realize they dont fit. The tabs on the pads are too small to fit the caliper bracket. Exchanged the pads for the 2002 year model, which was a different Monroe part no, but no luck: still dont fit.

I guess I will have to buy genuine Nissan pads.

Have you experienced this too ?

Please don't... Get Hawks like Sooner suggested or some other brand (Axis, generic auto parts store), but not OEM!

For the back, OEM is fine, since it does so little compared to front.
