help with LED angel eyes

hello everyone
so i bought a set of the LED angel eyes about 2 months ago, a week after installing 3 of them burn out. i followed the instruction. i hooked them up to my parking light which is also LED. so i thought it was a bad set of rings or something. so i returned them and they send me a new set which i installed about 2 weeks ago. and they were fine tilll today when i noticed two of the
(one on each side) are gone. i heared good feedback from few peaople on these rings so am i doing something wrong or the rings are crap? doesn't LEDs supposed to last a long time?

also sence they were made for bimmers my buddy bought an exact same rings from same people. he has it on for about a month and no problem. mine used to look kinda blueish whitish and not bright at all. i mean u barly would noticed them but his is super white super bright. any idea what the problem is.

LEDs burn out due to heat, since you have an 03, get an E46 CCFL kit cheap off eBay and enjoy 4x the brightness and longevity.

i had them..... first thing i did was replace the LED with good quality LED that have the resistor built in and are brighter.... the ones that come with the rings are cheap and have that weird converter box which sucks... i would try that first or n3985 has a good idea but be careful with thos cuz my friend had them crack on him

yeah i had those too, but one cracked on the way and i cracked another one thats why i bought these, so the best thing to do is just to replace the LEDs right. im sick of opening my lights so i want something that could last me a while, any ideas on what kind of LED bulbs i should replce them with?

Did you get the old style thinline CCFLs? The really brittle ones? The E46 ones come with a plastic casing around the light tube, you'd have to be stupid to crack one.
