I was wondering if anyone has ever chopped 1 coil off the front springs to give the car an agressive look?

I will be ordering my springs hopefully next week, but before I install them was interested in this. Due to the shape of the wheelwells, our cars appear to be higher in the front because of the gap, and I am trying to fix that by lowering the front more by cutting the spring.

I know that cutting the spring will affect the ride quality, but I am not going to cut that much. Maybe I will only cut a 1/2 of the coil and it will be enough.
