I have 20% on the front driver & pass window, then 5% on the back doors, window, and front window.

Satin Blue Pearl with 20% on (2) rear and (1) back
window(s). Won't touch front windows. Illegal in NJ.

Look up at my post. I did mine in NY, and 25% rear passenger and rear window, 35% driver and front passenger is the darkest you can go in NY without it being illegal.

I just looked up the regs in NY - 30% is the darkest you can on the front doors. There is no limit on the other windows. The windshield can be tinted but the upper 6".

Anyone have any pics of a Gray Lustre with 30 or 35% all around?

Thanks

i just got 20 all around (cept windshield which is illegal)
i wouldnt recommend getting 35 for anyone unless your in PA or something like that. 35 is like NOTHING trust me. 20 is good for NY... fairly visible durring day, cant see inside at night 20 is like on all those rear windows on SUV's and minivans if you ever wondered what it was like

I recently had my windows retinted. I failed inspection because of the illegal 20% tint all around that I had. So, to avoid future problems, I just went with the legal tint. I got the Platinum tint, 50% for the two fronts, 35% for the two rears and back window. It's not dark at all, but it looks pretty cool because it gives out a slight mirror, reflective look to it. Most importantly of all, it actually reflexes heat! With my old 20% tint, you would think that the dark tint would reflex heat pretty good right? Nope! I'm glad that I retinted with this new Platinum tint. I haven't update my pics yet, so the sig pic is still with the old 20% tint.

35% all around. Any tint at all on the front windows is illegal where I live (Alberta, Canada) but I did it anyway. The first shop I went to (Ziebart) would not even tint my front windows because they got a ticket when one of their customers was stopped on the highway and the RCMP officer asked where he got his tint done at. One of the guys at work was given an exacto knife by an RCMP officer and told to scrape off his tint on the side of the road.

The 35% tint does not look like much at all. Especially on a black car with grey interior. If I open the moonroof on a sunny day you almost can't notice it so I'm not too worried about the bacon burners.
