182whp and 183 ft/lbs. torque. I figure that's not too bad for and auto. And my tranny is still jacked up. The new one goes in on Wed.

I wanted to throw mine up on the dyno, but never got around to it... I think Kev got close to the same results with the PRCAI, y-pipe, and UDP. 182 isn't bad at all. If you figure 25% drivetrain loss for the auto tranny, that translates to close to 240 hp at the crank.... not bad

Since auto takes up 25% of the HP... 171 / 0.75 = 228 HP off the engine.

those numbers sound about right. Plus, the gains from a CAI won't really show up that much on a dyno....

oh ... actually yeah .. i thought u were manual ... also .. why wouldn't the PRCAI show up on the dyno? is that the same logic for the SI?

Well I talked to a guy at another tranny shop (I no longer trust my dealer) and he said he would be shocked if I wasn't losing at least a few hp from my tranny problem (I let him drive it for 10 min.). I'm getting it dynoed again next week in Charlotte when I'm on leave, and properly this time (not after 6 hours of driving). My friend took his Firebird to this place and he said they had a huge fan to help out with air flow simulation. How well this is going to work, I dunno, but it's only $45 to find out. I'll post my new results when I get them. I actually wasn't dissappointed with my Maxus run since it's right about where it should be, as long as you're realistic about what your mods will do.

and why does everyone have that spike at about 5k rpm? is that the intake runner switch off?

So if I am putting out around 203HP at the wheels (5spd y-pipe and intake) what would that be at the crank...240ish? Why did you have so much variance in dyno 183-190?
