Looks like a pop charger style intake will go on fine. Now look at the top right hand of the engine bay...what is the container right beside the strut area. I hope that isn't in the way of a FSTB. Did anyone check that out? What other existing mods would fit? I know springs are cool and I assume the RSB and RSTB. The front and back clears. Any other observations? ie. same air filter...OSCAI etc..

The engine looked much better without it.

Looks like it's a Cali spec too (it's got four 02 sensor connections right below the engine cover). I guess all 2k2's will be like this?

yeah... probably all cars made will now have NLEV emissions.... when are they going to stop? Isn't having three cats on the car enough?

If you are refering to the container with the yellow lid, that's the brake fluid resevoir. It doesnt look any bigger than the current ones, an FSTB should still fit fine.

No...the engine cover...covers the ugly engine.

Our engines look like those in the 70's or 80's with all the hoses,pipes..and all that stuff...engine cover will cover all that crap so it will look much more intersting

The container beside the strut tower on the passenger side is the power steering fluid reservoir and could be moved. It is disappointing to see the same intake system, though it means the bigger engine should respond better to intake improvements (more displacement and more hp should mean more air!)

Yeah, that engine cover is but ugly. But it's not as bad as the new Q45. The cover covers the whole engine compartment.

The intake manifold now looks like it's made of metal and not plastic like on my car. It also looks different. Maybe they ported it? and OSCAI with a POP charger should help out.

Also did anyone note that there is no VIN stamped to the firewall? (on the big rectangle in the middle.)

Did anyone take not if there is room for a SC?

The engine cover comes off easily. It was removed at Maxus for a little while. I think it looked better without it.

It doesn't look like it from the picture posted. I have seen Kev's pics of his and the placement in the lower left corner of the engine bay. Unless the moved the belts to another side, which I don't think Nissan did, it looks as if one won't fit. But folks are pretty creative here on the org, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if some one got one installed. My question, can a 6 speed fit in my 2K1?
