I want to clean the outside black parts of my max. The parts between the windows on the doors. I just spoke to a Nissan Dealership and they told me to use Simple Green and then Armorall. Does this sound right to you?

No, it does not. Is this the black aluminum stuff? If so, wash it like you would the rest of the car.

Seals???

Are you talking about the seals between the window and door panels that runs against the window? Try a damp cloth. If that is indeed what you are talking about.

A guessing game, eh?

Is it the non metal portions between the windows & doors...the outside B pillar? I 'd wash it just like the rest of the car, but avoid Armor-All at all costs.

No the seals, the B-pillar. I washed it as I would the rest of the car, but I am wary to put wax on it.

I waxed it.

Hell, I even waxed my sunroof deflector.
