Hey TimW please refresh my memory on A Pillar

fix.....where did you exactly place the foam? Was it in that tiny weeny space inbetween the dash and the A pillar under the tweeter? I was looking and it does't look like I can fit anything there.
Thanks

Doh!!! just saw the same topic down below
got my answer there..thanks
but Tim if your read this...you said you got the TCM replaced because you noticed a slight rpm jump once of a few hundred rpm...(I think thats what you said, please correct me if I am wrong) Was that the only indication of anything ie you never really felt a big slip as in you gunned it and the rpms went way up but acceleration did not match it?
Thanks

on the slip....
I only noticed it because I was so paranoid. I never saw slip other than that one time. I think the dealer put it in to shut me up. I never drove the car hard enough to really be an issue. I just wanted it addressed before it was a problem. with 4/00, I wouldnt think your car would need the TCM. Keep in mind my regular dealer wouldnt do it, I had to drive 30 miles to another dealer.
You go into the dealer and try to be honest and do the right thing. if that fails, just lie. Say its slipping. If they say it wont do it, tell them some crap about the car needing to be hotter. play the same game. Protect your investment.
As bad as they can be, they are still better than the domestics for service. I shutter at that thought. I hear some pretty crazy stories from friends with domestics.
Good luck...
