Man after test driving a 93 VR-4 and a 93 300zTT tonight my max feels like a damn benz.. What a hunk of **** those cars were. The vr-4 was actually really nice cosmeticaly but had some problems and the 300z i drove tonight was fast as hell!! but felt like it was beat up its whole life.. It has custom paint job, stillen kit, big wing. Antera rims.. It was really bad *** just felt like **** inside. not as refined as a max. I love my max after driving it even if it wont do 0-60 in 5 sec. I never get to floor my car much anyway......... So now im gonna get a stillen kit, y pipe and be in love with my car..... again......

the new mods will help keep your interest in your car. Whenever you start getting bored, get something new to play with Cheaper than getting a new car....

You can't get rid of your car, Adam. Buy a SC and you can get close to doing 0-60 in 5 sec.

but then those are sports cars,, not luxury sedans... imo the interior isn't all that important because it can always be changed, its' alot easier to completely fix up the interior as opposed to the exterior, it costs too much to do some crazywide body kit. i think the max is a great car,but it definately not as fast as those two cars u listed right outa the box.

...my car didn't come in a box....

We do have something cool in the max though.. you can't carry 2 kids in the back seat of a 300z and not worry about them ... (I don't have kids, but we had a scare recently..)

HEh, what back seat???
The car really was fast and fun to drive but so unrefined and the int wasnt just cheap but the car had rattles and crap, the 3000gt had a really nice int and i really liked it but it had mechanical probs

heh, i think the same way. who needs a super fast car. as long as it can beat a civic, i dont care. i rather have a nice looking *** car with a nice *** system that can go decently fast.

Talking about 4 seaters, there's actually a younger guy here in Kansas City that has a 300ZX 2+2 with the TT motor swapped in. The car is a little rough on the outside (faded paint and scratches), but for a $16000 car (including the swap and mods) the car is fast as all hell. For fun, I ran him from a roll at 40mph and he put 3 cars on me by the time I hit 60mph! It's easily a mid 12 second ride.

egad.... I'd thought about getting a Z.. my boss just got one ('93 NA) and he let me drive it... it felt about as powerful as my car, mine shifts better, but it was rear wheel drive and that adds so many cool points and advantages for cornering....

It just makes me want to wait for the '03 Z car even more
