blah, dont be jealous of the 2K2.. IMHO it looks ugly =X

the huge nissan and big grill on the front really looks wierd. and the stock tires dont look as sporty as the 2K.

im not a speed freak, so i dont mind the 2... 200-something horsepower

Just fix the 2k-2k1 grille on it and it looks good, better than ours IMO. Kev can you take a base Corvette?

I'm not Kev, but a base Corvette, ehhh, maybe if it lost 2 cylinders or something like that. Our rides are FWD sedans that are peppy to say the least, but they can't be compared to a RWD sports car.

From a stop... no way.

Rolling... maybe I can keep up, but I have a feeling they'll inch away from me.

Never raced any so I wouldn't know, but it would be fun to try.

Umm aul pipes? I guess so. It looks aight but performance wise, there are no gains..
As for cost, I didn't spend a single penny. Did all the work myself.

im not Kev, but i know theres no way in hell under any conditions, hell, the M5 goes faster even in reverse!! Trust me i know M5, and i dont think i would even waste the gas if im with the M5. Only corvettes or 911s deserve to be smoked. If any of u guys have mad mods like Kev, i might be willing to arrange a race......but then again, it just doesnt look right. If someone's desperately interested, let me know, u can do it at my next drive. I arrange drives in this area.

That's because it's a PHOTOCHOP. I almost fell for it, until I saw the ACTUAL picture before Photoshop on your website. Looks good though.

Keving, why do people think your midget powered max is so fast? hehe. I heard your having probs keeping up with Jane. j/p.

Not to flame but a Max walk a M5? Do you know what kind of territory you are entering there? My cousin ran his new 2k M5 with a 12.3 stock (with 2k miles on it). That is almost as fast as his BPU 97 TT Supra. I doubt anyone will take that. You are talkin about a European car that is meant for the Autobahn. The manual says (During Break-in Time of 3k miles) keep the car under 5k rpms and under 110mph. Let alone the US break-in is under 3k rpm and under 65mph.

I would like to see

you run against a stock 01 Lightning. My dad has one and I swear I have yet to see anything quicker.

My brother has a 2000 Cobra that's supercharged and that little bastard is fast as hell also.

Sorry bro...
No friggin way a stock M5 is running 12.3 w/o nitrous...
They run low-mid 13's...which is still quite fast...

You shouldnt store your NOS bottle next to the computer...
and if you must...please make sure its closed!

Just be sure not to park your Max beside the Concorde let alone the M5's brother the X5.

When I heard someone said the M5 is "nervous" at high speeds I was laughing out loud.

Ford only made the Cobra R in 2000. The Cobra was in '99, and they did't make them in '00 because of some engine issues I think. I do think they made them for '01 though, but not '00.

No the NOS hasnt been leakin into my head Atom.

Im dead serious. There is no mods on that damn car. E-Town produces some of the fastest times and you know that.

Ex: The magazine said the 99 Lighting ran 14.4 in teh q-mile. They even said the 01 L w/ more HP and TQ runs 13.7. His 99 Lighting ran a 13.3 stock in teh winter. Im just sayin it happened and he can drive.

Remember Atom 14.9 hehe.

M5's do 13's, so I think I can keep up for a while until it pulls away. The only problem with FWD cars is traction, so if we are rolling, I should not any problems keep up for some time. From a stop......... NO WAY.

M3's are faster than M5's, so you can figure that out.

H*ll, with your setup you should be in the 13's yourself. but yes, FWD is hard tio get traction, you need some drag slicks on very small rims... But, haven't you done just6 about everything you can to that car without electronic tuning and what not? and i don't think you have nos do you?

I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't pull some VERY good numbers if you got slicks and ran at a good track and maybe upset some cars...

Kev has a beast under his hood. But his drivetrain isn't efficient enough to keep up with cars with manual and LSD.

Sorry man but Ford did not make a Cobra in 2000!!! 99' then the new 01'.

Kev's car is fast, but a 400hp M5?? C'mon guys, his car is pushing out close to 280fwhp so he might be able to stay with a 330 but not an M5.

I would like to see some dyno numbers with the new mods from Kev.
