Hey can someone please help! I did a clean install of my computer yesterday and I switched to 2000Pro. Well I have my cookies enabled but whenever I close the site and try to post again it always makes me enter my userid and password over and its pi$$ing me off! Help Kev or Jambo or someone. And yes I have tried looking in my C.P. and it says cookies enabled.

I was having the same problem. I couldn’t post at all.

I e-mailed the webmaster weeks ago and never heard back. (Thanks a LOT, guys…)

Switched over to Internet Explorer and everything’s fine now.

I have the same problem. I installed 2000Pro and if I am idle for a couple of minutes, I am logged out.

And I've always used IE to surf Max.Org.

I might try Kev's suggestion and try logging onto forums.maxima.org

this happened to me too...

what you need to do is

1.log on and go to your options menu....the option says use cookies so its on....then select off
2.log out...
3.log in again and select the cookies option to turn on back again
4.all set


P.S to logout go to the main fourms page and on the bottom right side there is a log off option
