I have had my car for 1 week. It has 1000 miles on it (yes I do allot of miles), and after it has been sitting for any length of time (overnight) it will wobble when I first start out. It acts like the rim is warped, but the car will smooth out after it has been driven for a few miles. It is almost as if there is a balancing problem. I can't explain it. I am going to take it back to the deal, but I figured someone may have some insight here first!

I don't understand where or how this could be a slipped belt?

 

it would be a manufacturer defect. it happens. rare but it happens. I would get it by the dealer and let them inspect the tires. And for safety's sake, i wouldnt drive too hard on them until it was looked at.
