Comming home from a friends birthday party with 2 other people in my car. My Friend has a Olds Cutlass coupe, 95-96(?) with the 3.4L and she also has 2 other people in the car. I followed her back to town. We were going 80mph. She slows down to 75mph and I get beside her still going 80mph. I wasn't expecting to race, just to make funny faces at each other. She speeds up to my speed and all of us were making faces, aren't we cool? Then her passenger gives a guester to the driver to floor it. She does and I didn't realize it until I rolled down one window slightly and heard her engine roar. She slows down and does it again. The 3rd time she does it, I get up on the gas and just BAMN! I still had the A/C running and gaining on her. I am about 1/2car length ahead by 85mph, and I just keep going until I was ahead of her to get in front of her. Once I did, I shut down without looking at the speedo.

I was cruising with 2 friends at the next town after talking to some girls at DQ. We see one of our friends with a late model Lumina with a 3.1L. We get side by side and he has one passenger with him. We both had our windows down and we talked. Kind of dangerous while driving no? The passenger tells me to floor it. I didn't want to at first, but then Ryan floors his car and slows down to match my speed again. I was going about 32-33mph. Once he does, I slam the shifter into 1st and the transmission kicked down into 1st and some tire chirp (!) The race was on. I sorta missed the 1-2 shifts and looked down and I was already at 6,400rpms. I backed off the gas while shifting into 2nd and I can see outta the corner of my eye that his front end of the car was at my door. It goes into second and I go off until I am at 60mph. He catches up and the passenger says, "damn your car has snap."

Basically the same story with the next car. Friend with a 97 Monte Carlo Z34. He has another passenger, his GF. But this time I left it in automatic and still beat him.

 

i thought my car was the only one being drivin mean! u gotta love the chirp from down****ing the AUTO its great! nice kills...... have u ever shiffted to the point where u hit the rev limiter but it bangs the hell out of 2nd it sounds like a pop and carries the gear out like crazy? i do it all the time it is great! my tranny probably hates me for it!

 

Yeah. I found that when you left off the gas while hitting the rev limiter, it makes a loud bang. One time it was loud enough send a jolt through the car and jam my hood release. Your right, its not good for the car but its not like I do this every day.

Coming from Hershey back to Harrisburg, Pa. My friend has a 98 Mazada 626 LX 5spd (top of the line model, no mods), Whre coming from a friend's house. He leaves first, I past him he's going the Speed limit (55). I slow down, then he passes me. We get to a red light. I just rained so its kinda wet. I have my brother in the car, and he has no passengers. Long story short, drop in to first (auto), light turns green, go half trottle (so tires don't spin) to about 10mph, then floor it. I get a better jump at about 25 mph his nose is at my door, at 45 mph, he's at my back bumper, and at 65 about 2 cars, 85 I'd say 6, can't even see his car, just headlights

2 Days ago, my brother just bought a 98 Eclipse RS. Were coming from York to Harrisburg, he has 1 pass, I have none. Were on the Highway, I'm going 60, he passes me, I toy with him, I floor it, close in on his bumper then back of. I do this about 4 times, until we get to about 13mph, then I go to pass him and I hit 135 and start bouncing off the speed limiter hard Can't pass him, we go up hill and I pass. Those are my first kills. Sorry for the long story...
