Welp, after the 2nd day of being in the heat, I polished the VC again. It is coming along pretty well. I had to use some harsher grit in some areas, and went back to 400grit again. This is the finish product after alot of 400 grit work. I think I will take a few days away from doing this and wait till the weekend since now I have a huge blister on my thumb from working on it so hard. I can't even hardly type this. lol. Anyways, here are some pictures after spending 1 1/2 hrs on it tonight. You will see how much it has come along.... See day2 pics for the latest updates..

nice work, how long do you think its going to take to finish? are you going for a brushed-aluminum look or full reflection?

I went outside today wanting to start polishing my engine, but it was SO HOT here in new york. I tried doing it in my garage, but the humidity, uhg.

LOL its hot and humid here. 95-100 degrees normally when i am working on the car. I want full reflection (mirror). So its gonna take alot of work. Get some box fans and blow them on you. That's what I was doing...It's gonna take a while. We are talking a few weeks probably....
