I didn't see this in the cleaning sticky. But what is the best way to clean the headlamp (exterior) lenses? After I wash my car there is still a fine film on them that doesn't come off with just high pressure wash? Any ideas of what can be used to get them crystal clear?

Just last night after washing my 2k se I was running my fingers over the paint etc, and the headlights and I felt lots of those tiny invisible specs.
so I hit them both with the clay bar and presto, perfectly smooth and clean. I finished with some "Invisible Glass" to clean any residue.
The headlights sparkle like new. Give it a try.

Gotta Love the clay bar.

Where do I get the clay bar? Just the local autoparts store? Is there gonna be any difference in quality between different brands?

Yup... cheapest and easiest way. Works for us...

And if you break them from scrubbing too hard... 02 HID headlight conversion. Win-win situation!!!

How about cleaning the inside of the lense of the headlight unit. The inside looks a little hazy inside. And ideas how to clean it?

Stoner's Invisible Glass. The best glass cleaner I have ever used! I purchase it at Pep Boys. Not sold in most stores. You can find it here, though: http://www.detailguru.com/stoninglas.html

go down to pepboys and pickup Waxshops SAFECUT. It is a plexiglass cleaner and polish with a very light abrasive. It will pull bugs, wax, and film with ease and makes them look new again. Try it on the rears also, and the red will look brand spanking new !!!
