Anybody tried to put a clear bulb in where the blinker is...next to the headlight. I know people say if your blinkers blink white..its illegal..but everyone has. Well everyone down here in South FL does it.

Yah personnaly I am really serious about things like this. Sure maybe the white blinkers look cooler but honestly I feel the 2 most important things on a car are your signals and your break lights. LIke I stated in a different post, Ive had numerous times where someones horn saved me from an accident only and only because they saw my blinkers flashing. They also may look cool @ night but during the day you can hardly see white...

BTW I just graduated and am OBSESSED woohoo!

they have clear bulbs that produce yellow light

They have a mirror like coating so they look clear/white in the day but produce amber light when you use them. I think they are about $30. I'd stick with them instead of making my car even more of a pigmagnet.

That picture is of a single-filament bulb. Wouldn't we need the dual filament bulb for the 5th Gen? Polarg G-34?

Correct me if I'm wrong... I want to purchase some this week.

You're correct, the fronts are double filament bulbs.. I wanted to show how they looked.

No, I don't have too much money on my hands.

Polarg G-34s are NOT as bright as stock!

You lose some brightness on both the running lamp and the blinker. They are also AMBER in appearance compared to the stock yellow/orange.

They are barely noticeable during the daytime and acceptable at night for blinkers. However, I think there is another one available with a higher wattage if your worried about being seen.

I don't care about white bulbs, since my G34s ONLY blink(no running lamp).

Really? I did a side by side comparison and they were almost exactly alike (Visuals were a bit deeper in color).

Yes, I also did a side by side comparison.

I actually bought these on your recommendation. I also emailed you a "these suck" comment back awhile ago.

It's ok Kev. You can't be PERFECT all the time, since your car is, except the AUTOMAGIC of course. LOL.

What's up with the DYNO runs???????

Dyno runs? Skunk2 (Group A Motorsports) is right next to where I live, but the dyno guy is not there when I go.

He's probably afraid you'll break his dyno or at least put his showroom car to shame.

So when are you going to put together the Las Vegas meet?
