Ok, I know there are problems and fixes for the infamous hissing - bee's in a can sound that comes from a y-pipe. I have been to the shop that put it on three times to check for leaks, and there are none to be found. I have been to a muffler shop and had them cut off the flex pipe and replace it with a stainless steel interlined flex pipe. I have read numerous threads on this and I am at a loss. The noise is still there. Could it be that it is just a characteristic of the pipe. The only thing I have not tried is header wraping the whole thing to muffle the sound. If anyone has any suggestions other than the threads that have been posted already I would appreciate it. Thank you.

header wrap the flex joint... the flex joint is smaller on the y-pipe than the stock pipe.... so a little sound is bound to come through....
