arghhh
I hate this slow *** sight sometimes ...
But then I remember all of you and I keep coming back.
Seriously, this site is getting so slow lately, and my post body got deleted. I tried to post it and it orginally took 5 minutes just to switch over and say that this webpage could not be displayed. I had to go back and resubmitt and this is what happens. I get made fun of by Kev and look stupid!
Back to my original question:
Do you have to do anything special to install an aftermarket alarm to the max. I have installed several other alarms but never to a factory equiped vehicle. Do you have to disconnect the other alarm.
I know that if you just lock your doors even without the key fob activation, your alarm is still on and active.
Any suggestions, or anyone know
Thanks

Yeah I wondered about this for awhile too. I want to install a new alarm system with a remote starter. I too have installed 4 alarms and dont know how difficult this one is gonna be
I want to do the remote start and window roll up and down on all windows and the sunroof. That might be the difficult part though

yeah we have one...
roll down your driver's side window then turn your car off. Once it is turned off use your key fob to lock your doors. Wait until the light near the clock starts to blink and then reach in your car and unluck the door. Now open your door and see what happens. To stop the honking and flashing ... press the unlock button.
Fun, fun, fun huh. Of course you could always just press the panic button the key fob and hear it that way!
