I'm looking to put some PIAA headlights into my max and I was wondering what is a good price and where can I get them? Are the PIAA the best on the market?

Thanks,
Diederik

what the best is what you want...
a lot of people prefer different colors of the bulbs.

they have a slight purple tint and its s/w
i paid 80 bucks for a pair at courtesy
i don't know how much they are these days

I replaced my headlamps & foglamps back in July with PIAA super whites and did quite a search for the best price. The best price I found was at

http://www.autobulbdepot.com

As an example, a pair of the PIAA H4 super plasma cost $69.95. That's the best price I've seen anywhere.

Hope that helps,
Peace...

Carparts coupons

Carparts.com sells PIAA bulbs at the typical going rates. Carparts.com has frequently had coupons available on the Internet for 33% off the total price, or $50 off orders over $100, etc. If you can find a valid coupon (check http://www.importhookup.com/), that should be the cheapest way to go.

As much as it hurts to order through them I bought through Carparts too. ~$70 total for the 9004 PIAA bulbs and a K&N for another vehicle. (that's how I got to the $100 min)

BTW - PIAA was a bit brighter but nothing to brag about

Do you know how they compare to the PIAA SW PLatinums?
Do the plasma have any blue in them? I hate the corny blue look in headlights. And blue would definitely clash with a black car color. I like the whole purple look cause thats what i notice that the real HID equipped cars have, a purplish tint.
