I called an auto-tire/wheel etc. shop in my area to get a quote on new tires, and salesman told me that he can install 235/50/17V 600 A A Firestone tires for $110 a each.
You noticed that its 235 and not 225 ( like on my stock 2k SE 17x7 wheels ), but after getting my vehicle info he told me that it is a 'perfect mach'.
I looked on the web - but can't find any info on this size of tires.

Have you guys heard anything about this tires? Do they even exist?

What model of tire was it? Seems like you only have measurement and spec data and no tire name.

There are other better performance tires out there than Firestone.
Save your $110 and spend a couple of bucks more. Since tires are the main things that "keep" you on the road, don't skimp on the quality.

But if cost is an issue, I think the one you are looking at is the Firehawk LH (only this shows a 500 wear rating).

You make a good point - and I completely agree with you.

I would like to have something at least as good as the original P225/50/R17 93V Protenzas.

I don't want to spend a fortune on them though.
What are you suggestions? Is the stock tires better then the Firestone one?

But why would you want to put these tires on your car? That would make the outer diameter larger making the tires look too big for the car and also throwing the speedo off?

Not a good idea to me, just what i think
