While driving home from work today my sunroof would only open or close in small incriments. Even the tilt was operating the slide function. Does anyone know of a TSB on this? I have already looked in the sticky areas of the forum and have had bad results searching the forum. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I dunno about this specific problems, but I remember people posting about sunroof problems before.. I know the search doesn't always yield the best results, but maybe one of them will catch this thread and respond..

You will find that any sunroof fix requires the replacement of the motor. Why, you may ask... The controling circuit board is attached to the motor.

Now it's covered under warantee, but that is even more reason to get the extended warantee.

Sunroof

My sunroof had some of the same symptoms, and then some. Dealer replaced the motor under warranty because there was a short on the control board. That was almost 6 months ago, and I havent had one glitch since. I couldn't even tell that they opened the car door. That was the most painless warranty work ever.
