When I wash my car and I am pressing down to wash or dry it there is this slight movement of the hood. You can hear it moving up and down. Maybe a quarter to a half an inch. Definitely noticeable. Anyone else have this or know of the remedy? Thanks.

No way dude!! My Chevy and my Ford truck never had it. My two Jetta's never had it. Is this a Nissan specific item? I thought they knew how to build cars? I guess its just the engines that they're good at.

That's why the hood flutters above 60mph...

You can turn the 2-rubber stops(one on each corner), but I've tried about every combination with no luck. I believe the only true fix is to lower the hood latch down, so the hood applies pressure on the rubber stops.

I bet Nissan didn't do much wind tunnel/high speed track testing for the 5th gens.

Alex, there is alot of room on that rubber piece, I adjusted it in front of the salesguy, and he asked me what I was doing, and he didn't even know about that it moved up and down. LoL.
Plenty of wind tunnel and highspeed testing. Just a simple manufacturing fault, but is easily remedied by the consumer. Worse comes to worse...get hood pins..
SPARCO Hood Pins $40, and a drill.

I've moved it as far UP and DOWN on BOTH sides with no luck. I'm leaving on Thursday for a road trip, so I'll try again.

If not, since I don't have a drill, maybe I can just get the STICK on RICE hood pins. J/K! Never seen them, but I know they exist.

Something is wrong with your hood. Get Snubbers on the hood then. Use Silicone sealant and retain it with Masking tape.
