Well I finally had the chance to install the billet grill from StylinConcepts. It was a little mission, but I somehow managed to finish it under 2 hours. I also ordered the valence grill, but it looked to much with that, so I didn't install it. It would make my car look like a fence.

I think you should put the Nissan badge back in the middle. IT looks very naked without the badge. Otherwise, nice install, looks cool

Looks Good

I just installed the same grille on my Max. I am debating whether or not to put the badge back in the center. I kinda like it without it....

to badge or not to badge

Hey All,

I took some liberties to show the difference
hope you don't mind.

I might even consider the grill at a later date

I tried seeing the Nissan logo on there and it just doesn't go. It looks a little ugly I think. I dunno

I think it looks fly with the emblem in the center. I have my grill but I haven't time to install it yet. I'm gonna get the the wing emblem from SYCIFERO and put it on the front of the hood to make it look Bentlyesque, ya know! I like how the grill looks w/ the GLE/GXe grill b/c it already has the chrome trim.

Re: to badge or not to badge

That is cool, I think it look better on darker colors. It would be super sweet on black w/the emblem painted black.

I have the valence grill but it looks a little ugly with it on. Its looks like a damn fence, so I just installed the grill and left the valence out. Anybody want to buy my 5th gen valence grill? Its new.

I still think it looks best with the silver grille and definitely looks better with the logo. otherwise, it's like having a face without a nose...

I'm thinking about painting the valence grill black? Does anyone have any suggestions on what sorts of paints to use?

**** .. I'm really like this grill now ... I hated it when I first saw it but it's growing on me ... too bad I didn't pick up rocket's for $130+ shipping for both! =(

Do you have to cut out the stock grill? & to ask the same question as the last guy ... what would u use to paint this black?

well I did finish putting on the speed grille this weekend and I did it without cutting the old grille out, yes it is duable but a little adjustment of the speed grille is necessary for the perfect fit.
I also took the old emblem off of the old grill and purcased some 3M molding tape at a local auto shop and the fit is great, this is good news since i didn't have to destroy my old grill, also the way I attached the new grill is to the plastic rim that is removable from the old grill so if you ever want ot go back to the old gril you have to by a new one the is much cheaper than buying a new front bumper, well I will have some picks this week so you can judge for yourself
