the tails look a bit strange on dark colors...
FUGLY!
I don't know why people like those. I think they look somewhat better on lighter colors, but the red/yellow moon stands out too much with the clear background. I think the 00-01 SE tails look better, but I'm a little biased.
That's alright, since I don't have to buy the tails, I can spend the money on the '02 HIDs.

I'm with the clear half moon, but I was talking to Dave about it and he said that the only way to open it up is to get a really sharp saw or something so that I can make a clean cut to separate the front from the back. It sounds like a tough thing to do, and I don't know what I would use to insert a clear piece into the amber slot. I guess I could cut out the clear piece from the 00-01 tails, but then that would leave the 00-01 tail unusable. I have yet to see the 02s on a white car though.

I would get the the new lens. But like most people I'm a bit lost if its worth it.
I have a white Max'00 with the red tail lenses. After getting used to them, they look ok on the car, but same as most people here in Hawaii. Amazing how much white sells here.
The clear looks good on a white car, but like most, I wish they kept the yellow the same clear lens.
maybe apc will finally make a set now...
