My friend just got an RSX type S with a 6 speed. He is always talking about how fast it is. He said it has 200hp. vtec engine. Do you think that my 5spd. maxima could beat him I also have a intake?

Hey Shoopdog29, that one will be though to killed, not saying you cant but these are 2 very different cars, the weight/HP ratio seems to give an edge to the RSX, I would say with intake and Y-pipe you should walk away not easily but what the hell just race him than you'll see. It is funny to race even if you loose and doing so will proove your guts and hopefully your friend will respect you anyway.

I never hesitate to race anyone unless I have absolutely no chance of at least giving the opponent a good race ( unless it is like a Ferrari or high end sports car ), cuz dont forget our Max are not sports car they are family sedan sport car. Even if you dont have the fastest car sometimes the best driver win.

Good luck and keep me posted.

Cheers

I think that once our high-end torque kicks in...you'll roll to victory.

One of the mags tested the 0-60 in 6.1. I don't remember the 1/4 but it was around 14.8 Sec / 96MPH. It should be VERY close either way with your mods and manual. Let us know how it goes...
