Has anybody changed LED's in window switchs and etc...
would like to know how?

 

doing that tomorrow. did one today with a spare LED i had. will post instructions tomorrow as soon as i get to Radio Shock.

 

Stock numbers, voltages, and what not. RS has a billion types of LEDs. Thanks!

ayoh, he means those little lights you have on your window switches and stuff. instead of that pale green, you can get other nice pretty colorz for it... and brighter too!

Can n e thing b done about the green in our stereo display & the ring around the ignition?

 

didn't YJ or someone do the ignition already? should be pretty easy... it's just one LED, i think. the stereo display is a mess, from what i remember. i don't think you really want to gut the entire stereo for it... might not be worth it... but someone (someone please raise your hand) did the Temp controls and said it was a major pain... but perfectly doable.


alright folks... going now to Radio Shack to get m'LEDs... let's just hope they have enough in stock!

i did the install. i took pictures. i will post the instructions in a couple days b/c i'm leaving for San Diego right now with a friend. lemme tell you, it looks AWESOME.

 

Gene ... I've already done the Ring around the Ignition ... I guess I'll just ADD it to the LIST of things you want me To help you do ...

I guess U'll owe me More now! hehehe

the lights used for the driver side where the window controls and door locking stuff is... they use lights or LED's? if it's only leds, sweet!!! hehe should make each one a different color... red green and blue ;-) or 2 colored... depending on how you feel or they fade from one color to another...

anyways... post instructions and pics when anyone has time would be awesome to see.
