i order the new 02 sunglass holder today from daveb (thanks again)

the new one is a push-to-open type instead of the pull tab thing on my 2k. i just thought it was a classier way to go on a max. the cost is only $6 and change whereas the old 2k sunglass holder was like $35. with that kind of a price anamoly, there may be another 'adjustment' in the future.

get em if you want em. just thought i'd let you guys know.

That sunglass holder sounds like it's from an Accord's.

My neighbor just got an Accord V6 and the holder is like it's one of those "soft eject" ones when it opens--like those cassette player doors on boomboxes. Looks cool though.

Please post pics and part number if possible. I was wondering why Nissan had to be cheap and make the sunglass holders like that. The accord's is so much nicer and feels like it's better quality.

Has the swap been done yet? Is it a direct replacement, or do we need to mess with it? Sounds good to me either way.
