What rims do you guys think look the best on a Max? I want to put a set of 18's or 19's. I haven't seen very many Maxima's with rims so submit pics if you got em.

SSR GT1 look nice, but are pretty expensive. Volk rims are the same... great rims, but $$$$. Check out the rims Flipmode_Cali has... they look great also. I think they are Zenettis.

Konig makes some decent looking rims that reasonably priced. Konig Tantrums are a popular choice also.

You can't even get PEP BOY's rims for 450 dollars!!!! I am not sure you could even get a name brand 15 x 6 rim for less than a hundred a rim. Forgetaboutit.....you ain't getting gunmetal or anthracite rims for less than 800 for the set!

Get the Fittipaldi package special on www.tires.com. 18 x 7.5 rims with tires for about 900 bucks. That is the best deal I have seen on 18"s.

I noticed that you have the Nitto 555 tires. How do you like them? Do you have 18 x 8 rims? I already ordered my Konig Imagine (Silver) 18 x 7.5 rims with 225/40 Nitto 555. I can't wait!!! I hope the smaller width of my rims and tires doesn't look weak.

BTW Killr....your wheels like nice on your car! I will have to take some pictures of mine when they get in....hopefully tomorrow!

I love flipmode_cali's rims. SSR GT1's are very sweet. Konig Tantrums are very popular (or anyhting in that style). Volk's are really nice too. I wish I had money

why buy Konig verdicts when you can have the RH Z5000's for about the same price? It seems like when you get up to 19's they are all about the same. Oh and, who knows what the offset is for our 5th gens. I want the deepest dish possible.

What do you think?

Need some advice. Went to an import shop today where I live (Hawaii) and I was looking to buy some new rims and tires. I have a 5th. gen Maxima, Sterling Mist color, and I was thinking of getting Konig Tantrum rims, 18's, with Falken or Pirelli tires, size 235/40/18. Since they don't have the Konigs in stock, they will order them, ship via air, 3-5 days, and do the install for $1650. Do you think that this is a good price? He is waving the shipment fee which would have been around $150.00, not charging me any tax, and is doing the mounting, balancing, etc. for that price. Not to sure if I would be saving myself any money if I were to order online but then again, I would have to pay for the shipping fee, plus mounting and balancing. Any advice would be great! Thanks.
