hey guys i am getting the 5 zigen 5zr wheels in bronze color in 18 inch
i think it would look sick on my white max
i will post pics once i get it tomorrow

hahaha, we seem to have pretty much the same taste
i wouldnt recommend you to go with silver wheels
at first i was going to but white wheels to go with my white max, cuz it would look pretty good and no one would have the same set up, until i saw the 5zr's

the 5zr's are nice in white too, so i would reccomend those too

if you are getting bronze wheels, think about 5 zigen fireball, 5zigen 5zr, konig tantrums, and see if tsw has it in that color for the revos

if you want the wheels in white then just look at the 5zr's and the tsw revos, those two fit the max very well

 

i was thinkn bout white rims, but [no offense to u guys w/ white rims] i didnt like the look too much....maybe it was juss the angle, or maybe it was the rims....i dont really like the tantrums, too many spokes....however im loving flipmodecali's rims....tight as hell....if i could check some white maxes w/ a full side view maybe i could get ta like em....however, i got a while till i get rims so juss checkn to see what i like

I think chrome rims look the best on black, white rims can get very dirty very fast, and sometimes they just look cheap. Silver rims also look great, as many cars come equipped with silver. But you're right, they do look a little plain.

Now for my rant about dark and bronze colored rims...
I know some people like dark rims, but I have never seen a pair that I liked. It looks like the steel underneath the hubcap, the ugly black metal that just keeps the wheel from collapsing which is normally covered up by a simple hubcap to keep people from seeing them.
Bronze colored looks funky, like 70's style or something. I think it looks best on the bronze colored 300zx from like 1990. But on cars nowadays, I think it looks just... ugly. I don't really know how to describe it, I just would never buy them for myself.

Ok, before I get b!tched out, I think if you like a set of rims, you should buy them, because ultimately you should modify your car so that it meets your needs and expectations, not someone else's.

Greg's2kGLE: if you are asking me, i am getting the 18 inch 5 zigens for around 1300 usd and i already bought pirelli p7000 supersport for them, they cost me around 800

 

Oh man, I would get the yokohama AVS sport, those tires look crazy phat, I hear they perform well too
