I didn't know Weapon R made anything for the 5th gen.... anyhow, Ground Controls are nice. Y2KevSE has a set.

The installation is pretty simple.

Take off your stock spring/strut setup ( http://www.performanceix.com ), slide 2 rubber O-rings around the stock strut assembly, slip the GC sleeves on, then reinstall the setup.

How much do they cost?

Is it a $500 thing, or more like $1000.

I find it funny when people buy mods and then do research on them

I never knew Weapon R made coilovers for 5th gens.

The GC's are bouncy. Also if you plan on doing a big drop, you will bottom out a lot. I am now regretting that i ever bought the GC's. The handling & look is great though.

Hey, If your GC's fit on my 5th gen, I could trade you straight up those for my Eibach's.

weapon has a pretty poor reputation...

the celica weapon R intake sucks....
the "hi tech" foam intake is just asking for trouble.

Didn't take us too long. We didn't use a spring compressor because the Eibach springs (not GC Eibach springs) weren't going back on the car anyway.

intakes are pretty much the same as long as the application is for the same car...

thing is that the stock intake on many cars are restrictive, yet some stock intake is better than any other aftermarket system..

for example, on Honda Preludes(the newer body 98-01), the stock intake is so well designed that if you removed your stock ones and installed aftermarket ones, you can lose power instead of gain it..

How ruff was it to access the rear?

I can't picture why we don't need a spring compressor b/c we're using the GC Eibach springs ...
